Garner self-storage company Turner Farms Self Storage (3610 Benson Road) is a drop-off site for the annual Toys for Toys program. They will accept new, unwrapped toys at the office until Wednesday, Dec. 15.

As an extra incentive, new customers who drop off a toy will receive one free month on a storage unit of any size.

“We’re proud to get involved with a holiday campaign that allows us to directly give back to the community,” owner Douglas Ball said. “A lot of people want to do something to help others in need, and we wanted to provide an easy opportunity to do that.”

Donations can be dropped off during business hours: Monday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Earlier this year I wrote an article on auctions at self-storage lockers in the Fredericksburg area.
